It wasn't a wardrobe malfunction a'la Super Bowl XXXVIII when Janet Jackson exposed her pierced right breast, but Prince's half-time show during Super Bowl XLI has managed to spark some controversy.
During his guitar solo for Purple Rain, Prince's shadow was projected onto a large, flowing beige sheet. The silhouette cast by his figure and his guitar appeared... welll... very cock-like. Here's the picture that's causing all the trouble.
I, for one, am shocked that Prince would be so suggestive. This is a wholesome rocker who has never written a sexual lyric in his life. To suggest he intentionally used his guitar as a phallic symbol during Purple Rain is pure blasphemy.
