There aren’t a lot of men out there who remember the music almost above all else when it comes to memories of watching their first ever porno, but Tony Cutlass is obviously different. The brains and knob fiddler behind the Music To Watch Porn By project remembers fondly, as he was watching an Erica Boyer classic “Young Girls Do”, that he was blown away by the music. “And there was a scene where this girl was tied up and she was about to get pounded by some dude, but it was the soundtrack that got me. It was Wall Of VooDoo's cover of “Ring of Fire”.
Claiming to be “younger than Dr. Dre and older than Eminem”, the Albuquerque, New Mexico native has been playing music in various forms since he was a kid. Between ukuleles and going freestyle in a closet with his brother, Cutlass eventually moved on to the wonderful world of computers and the internet, where he released his first tracks at the now defunct MP3.com. Though he now works with an indie label out of Boston for his trip hop tracks, he’s also been working diligently to bring his music to the masses via networking sites like Myspace.com, Music to Watch Porn By is poised to become a true XXX phenomenon, and it shouldn’t be long till he’s winning best music at the AVN’s. As he says himself, “I think I represent what’s new and good in porn. I’m something different. I cater to porno people; they needed someone like me that wasn’t afraid to have the word “porn” connected to them”.
